The RadioTone Bendaway takes National's characteristic sound even further- up the fretboard. Its Bendasway styling allows access all the way up the neck for accurate lead playing and looks great! The RadioTone Bendaway has a maple (ply on the front and back, solid on the sides) body and is bent away from the neck to the 15th fret. The front features innovative sound holes: three vertical lines on each side of the fretboard, echoing an old National headstock symbol. The front has a light amber finish and is bound in ivoroid. Theback and sides are dark walnut with an amber sunburst. The maple neck has an unbound rosewood fretboard, solid peghead with an art deco design and 3-on-a-plate nickel-plated tuners.
