Here are pix from my recent trip to Idyllwild. While it was too short a trip, I got out of Los Angeles and into the woods (something I never got to do last year). Velveeta ran great though she was running a little rich above 4000 feet (Idyllwild is 5300ft. above sea level and our yellow post site was mebbe 2500ft. above that). No overheating going directly from Los Angeles to site w/ quick stop to "use facilities" in 80-90ish weather. No vapor-lock! My dogs, Buddy and Durf, had a great time (except when we were plinkin' with the HK P7M8 my friend Doug gave me). I will need to figure out some more wheel clearance for tougher off-road stuff as the rear tires were rubbing on one spot where it got pretty challenging.
