Dual Mode MS Stereo Matrix

The M/S stereo technique provides the modern stereo  producer an articulate yet versatile stereo image, while at the same time maintaining an uncompromised discrete mono signal. Using the exclusive AEA Dual Mode Matrix, stereo width  can be adjusted at any stage of production, even if the source is already in Left /Right format.

  • Dual-mode Matrix, accepts either conventional Left/Right or Mid/Side input signals.
  • Convenient single-knob stereo perspective control allows easy adjustment of stereo image without changing overall level.
  • Advanced active Mid/Side matrix operates at line-level and unity gain.
  • L/R mode can be used for correction of surround imaging problems.
  • Insert points for side-chain signal processing (EQ, reverb, special effects).
  • Balanced inputs and outputs, via XLR  and 1/4" TRS connectors.
  • High-current SSM 2142 differential output stage.
  • LED indicators for operating mode and insert status.
  • True hard-wired bypass mode.
  • External agency-approved power supply (either 120 or 240 VAC) provided: DC operation optional.
